Well Vicki found a ball of yarn we bought for Augustus about three years ago. No, I don't knit and don't plan on taking it up any time soon. Anyway, she was delighted with herself for discovering this wondrous thing and quickly began unravelling it everywhere. The yarn-thing confirms my suspicions that this dog has a little cat in her ( I know, KK, cause she ate it!!). Really though, the finicky eating, the purring sound she makes when I scratch her belly and the yarn just tells me she is part cat.
Now the string sits in a heap on the floor of our bedroom and, if we dare to touch it, Miss Vicki will have something to say about it.
vicki looks like she is REALLY enjoying the yarn... i have to ask (finally). what's with the body harness??
ReplyDeleteDue to Vicki's size the harness was recommended. As you mentioned earlier, her head is way smaller than her body. A single collar just slips off her neck. One day we hope to just have a single neck dog collar for her when the proportions are more acceptable. The harness does come off at night for sleeping. It fits her well and she does not appear to be uncomfortable with the harness.

ReplyDeleteThx, kiya and louie! We notice a huge improvement in her fitness level already too. She wants to walk further everyday, she can easily jump up onto the couch and she runs after her toys.
ReplyDeleteWe think she looks much slimmer but it's hard to be objective when we see her every day.
I agree with everyone, i think Vicki has lot quite a bit of weight. compare to the main profile pic, she is going to be the biggest loser. (north american tv reference). she is going from plus size model to supermodel...
ReplyDeleteMaybe not supermodel. We do want her to be healthy. KK, we get "The Biggest Loser" here although it is probably a couple of seasons behind. They are also producing "The Biggest Loser Asia" maybe I should send Vicki for an audition.
